What is Osteochondrosis?

Nonarticular disease can affect any part of your bone structure. 

  • The most common disease that usually targets the knee is called the Osgood- Schlatter disease. This disease affects the tibial part of the leg which is located at the top of the shinbone, which happens to be right under the knee. It causes irritation in this area. 
  • Sever’s disease is also a common nonarticular disease that targets the heel.

Symptoms of Osteochondrosis

The symptoms of Osteochondrosis is the following 

  • Pain, that is sensitive to touch and movement near the affected joint. 
  • Tenderness of the affected joint. 
  • Joint popping near the affected joint. 
  • Joint stiffness and weakness 
  • Reduced range of motion because of abnormal growth 
  • Cannot function properly with the affected limb
